Update: 12:05 p.m.:

Lynchburg, VA - Lynchburg city officials say there has been another small water main break, totaling to nine water main breaks in Lynchburg Thursday.

Update: 11:45 p.m.:

Lynchburg, VA - Lynchburg city crews have already fixed two water main breaks and are dealing with six more Tuesday.

Residents who live in the affected areas will receive boil water advisories from the city.

One of the breaks was on Link Road, which was closed for a little while this morning. That break has been fixed as well as one on Ivy Link Road.

Officials say that's the original break, and it led to the seven after it.

There are still problems on Clayton Avenue, Gorman Road, Woodcrest Drive, Trents Ferry Road, Rivermont Avenue and Bonair Circle.

Again, a boil water advisory will be hand-delivered to residents Tuesday.

Update: 10:50 p.m.:

Lynchburg, VA - Lynchburg's Department of Water Resources is reporting several water main breaks throughout the Rivermont and Boonsboro Road areas.

City officials this includes portions of Link and Trents Ferry Roads, VES, Mimosa and areas around Bedford Hills School, the Boonsboro Shopping Center and Virginia Baptist Hospital.

Customers may experience low water pressure, discolored water, or water service disruptions.

City officials say crews are working to restore service as quickly as possible.

Lynchburg, VA - The 1500-1800 block of Link Road is closed and city officials don't know when it will be back open. The road is shut down so city crews can repair a water main break.

ABC 13 News will keep you informed as to when Link Road is open again.
