Henry Co, VA – Police are investigating a shooting that happened Wednesday morning in a home in Axton.
Officials with the Henry County Sheriff's Office say two men were shot at a home at 1974 Birchwood Rd. at about 10:30 a.m. Wednesday.
John W. Rivalte, 50, who lives at the home, and friend Ronnie W. Jackson, 36, both suffered gunshot wounds.
Police found weapons and drugs inside the home. They say the two friends didn't seem to know the shooter.
They describe the shooter as a Hispanic man wearing a blue coat and a dark hat. They say he is medium build and is clean shaven. He was driving a dark color Nissan Titan pickup, either four-door or extended cab.
Both are being treated for non-life threatening injuries at Memorial Hospital of Martinsville and Henry County.
