Christiansburg, VA - A pedestrian was airlifted to Roanoke Carilion Memorial Hospital after he was hit by a pickup truck Wednesday evening.
Police say the 23-year-old was hit around 5:40 p.m. near a McDonald's on North Franklin Street. They are not sure what caused the accident, but they think the man might have stepped out into traffic.
Police say the driver of that pickup truck did stop to help the man.
No word on the severity of the victim's injuries.
