Lynchburg, VA - A Lynchburg family of five has been displaced after their home caught fire Thursday morning.
Crews rushed to the duplex on Heath Avenue, near Fort Avenue, a little after 8 a.m.
Three adults and two children live in the side that caught fire. Officials say no one was hurt. Investigators say the fire started from a baseboard heater that was up against a bed.
There were also concerns at first about the other side of the duplex where a disabled woman frequently stays with her caregiver. Fire crews were able to get her out safely.
The Red Cross is assisting the family.
