Radford, VA - The trial for a Radford boy charged in connection with the accidental shooting of his sister has been delayed for two years.
Police charged the 10-year-old boy with misdemeanor reckless handling of a firearm last August after his 14-year-old sister was shot and killed.
Commonwealth's Attorney Chris Rehak says the judge deferred disposition of the case yesterday.
The boy will continue counseling and the Department of Social Services will keep an eye on the case.
Rehak says the shooting was an accident.
