Danville, VA. - A Southside pooch has just won top honors as Best in Breed at the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show.
Her name is Margie, and she is a Toy Manchester Terrier.
Her owner, Dr. Roger Travis of Danville, is a podiatrist and said the dog competes all the time. Travis said right now Margie is in Florida for an AKC show and after that, she will go to Detroit.
Just last year she competed in a 125 shows and was voted the number one Toy Manchester in the United States.
Margie is 2 years old and her registered name is C.H. Cottage Lakes Bela Horizonte.
Travis says her favorite past time is lying by the fireplace and sleeping.
