Danville, VA - Investigators in Danville believe improperly discarded smoking materials caused a fire that did heavy damage to a home Monday.
Crews were called to the 300 block of Granville Drive just before 9 p.m. Monday.
Crews contained the fire to the den, laundry area and kitchen. Those areas received heavy fire damage, and the entire house has heavy smoke and heat damage.
