Disney's Phineas and Ferb are coming alive at the Roanoke Civic Center Saturday, February 25. The number one cartoon show on the Disney channel will be on stage at 1 p.m., 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.. Tickets to the action-packed show range from $17 to $43.
If you like all aspects of the paranormal world, you should come out to the 2012 Central Virginia Paraquest. The conference will be at the Holiday Inn in downtown Lynchburg Feb. 25-26. You'll be able to learn about and explore metaphysical and paranormal studies. That includes haunting, UFOs, animal communication and beyond. Tickets are $40 and that includes lunch buffet and all the seminars.
Going along with the theme, Roanoke is hosting MystiCon 2012 Feb. 24-26. The science fiction, fantasy and pop culture convention is also $40 and will feature artists, writers and other special guests.
You know you've been wanting to go, so get out there and learn how to salsa with your friends. This Friday, Feb. 24, is salsa dance night in downtown Lynchburg where you can take a beginner salsa lesson from 9 p.m. to 10 p.m. and the join in social dancing 10 p.m. to midnight. That's $5 at the Dance Theatre of Lynchburg.
