Pittsylvania Co., VA -- A mobile home is a complete loss after a fire Tuesday afternoon.
The home on Honey Road, just outside of Danville, became engulfed in flames. Crews from Tunstall, Mount Cross, Mount Hermon and Bachelor's Hall responded to the call just before 2 p.m.
One person lives at the home, and she made it out safely before fire officials arrived.
"Half of it was just engulfed in flames, and it didn't take five minutes and it was completely messed up. I walked out here and the fire trucks come down the road and that was it. They had it out in 10 minutes," says Steven Goard, a neighbor.
The Red Cross was at the scene to assist the woman whose home is now destroyed. No word yet on the cause of the fire.
