Lynchburg, VA - People in Lynchburg celebrated Fat Tuesday at the Fat Tuesday Pancake Fun Run, the first one ever held in Lynchburg.
It's a celebration of sorts because of Ash Wednesday when some church goers give up "fatty foods."
So about 20 people participated, flipping pancakes while running through obstacles.
"We thought it'd be a great idea to throw a race, pull the community together and get our name out there as a church so that's why we're doing it," said Kyle Scheren, creative director.
The church that organized the race is called ShoutChurch.TV.
