Lynchburg - Junior Colton Hunt poured in a game-high 26 points to lead Randolph to a 69-62 win over Roanoke in round one of the ODAC Tournament.
With the victory, Randolph (13-13) advances to play No. 3 seed Guilford College Friday evening at 8 p.m. at the Salem Civic Center. The win also marked the first time either team has won on its home court in the seven game all-time series.
Hunt, named an Academic All-American, finished with 26 points, nine rebounds and three steals to lead the WildCats.
Randolph led by 12 at the half, but Roanoke stormed back to within one in the second half.
Kwasi Amponsah, who played in his final game with the Maroons, posted a team-best 20 points. In addition to the game-high 26 points from Hunt, Randolph also got 13 points and nine rebounds from senior Derrick Woods-Morrow and 12 points from sophomore Mike Ehilegbu.
