Jared Schlehuber knocked out his second home run of the season during that big inning. It was a 3-run homer for the fifth-year senior.

Both teams were winless going into Friday afternoon's first of three games. The Golden Eagles improve to 1-4 while EMU Eagles drop to 0-3.
