Roanoke, VA. - The City of Lexington wants a lawsuit about displaying Confederate flags thrown out.
The city filed a motion in federal court, in Roanoke, asking that the suit filed by the Sons of Confederate Veterans be dismissed.
The group wants to fly Confederate flags on city property during Lee Jackson Day ceremonies.
Lexington banned that from happening this past year.. so the group filed suit in January.
