Danville, VA – Officials with the Danville Fire Marshal's Office say the fire that occurred on Grove Street Saturday was intentionally started.
The Danville Fire Marshal confirmed Wednesday that the fire was arson.

Danville, VA - The Danville Fire Dept (DFD). is working a structure fire at 855 Grove Street.
Five occupants were transported with minor injuries to Danville Regional Medical Center. The DFD responded at approximately 4:15 am with 3 engines and 1 ladder. A second alarm was generated shortly thereafter with 2 more engines and 1 aerial device.
All fire operations moved defensive (all fire personnel outside the structure). The DFD remains on scene.
