Lynchburg, VA - Want a excuse to pull out that suit or fancy dress out of the back of your closet? As part of Autism Awareness Month, Lynchburg Project Lifesaver is gearing up for its third annual "Second Chance Prom."
Tickets are on sale now, and the event is April 21 at Phase 2 in Lynchburg.
You must be 21 years or older to attend. Proceeds from the dance will go to the Commonwealth Autism Service as well as Project Lifesaver and the Lynchburg Sheriff's Office. Organizers say it will be a good ol' time.
"It's not very often you can dress up and go out around here. We call it a feel good night. You look good, everybody else looks good, you're doing it for a good cause," said Sgt. Margaret Younger.
The event starts at 7p.m. Tickets are $20 per person or $35 per couple.
