Update Tuesday 4:30 p.m.:
Roanoke, VA - Investigators say a Monday afternoon fire that destroyed much of a Roanoke house was accidental, although the investigation continues.
It took firefighters nearly an hour Monday to get the fire under control in the 1800 block of Hanover Avenue.
Houses on both sides of the fire were also damaged. The estimated damage is $81,000.
Tuesday night, the Red Cross is still working with four people who were displaced by the blaze.
Roanoke, VA - An afternoon fire in Roanoke has left at least two people without a home Monday.
The fire started at a house in the 1800 block of Hanover Avenue. Fire officials say two people were injured.
One was treated at the scene, while a firefighter was treated at the hospital for minor burns.
They tell us houses on both sides of the burning home suffered damage, as well. No word on a cause.
The Red Cross is helping the people who lost their home.
