Update 10:40 p.m.: Roanoke officials tell us that State Route 419 between Brambleton Avenue and McVitty drive is now reopen to traffic. They say that the roads opened at 9:30 p.m.

Roanoke County, VA - Expect traffic delays in the south county area because crews are still working to put out a fire at an apartment complex.
Officials tell us that parts of State Route 419, also known as Electric Road, in Roanoke County are closed.
Fire crews are fighting a fire at Cedar Point apartments and have blocked off State Route 419 between Brambleton Avenue and McVitty drive. We will keep you updated on this.
