Lynchburg - The Hillcats complete a three game sweep of Potomac, winning 3-2 Sunday afternoon.
Tommy La Stella accounted for all three of Lynchburg's runs. He launched a two-run home run in the first inning and then added a sacrifice fly in the fifth inning.
With the score 3-2 in the fifth, Hillcat pitching made that one-run lead stand over the final four innings. J.R. Graham, Chasen Shreve, Ryan Weber and Matt Chaffee gave up just seven hits and two runs.
The Hillcats are off Monday before beginning a three-game series with Salem on Tuesday.
