Alleghany Co., VA- Forest Services are fighting a series of brush fires in Alleghany county.
The fires were first reported Saturday afternoon, about ten miles west of Covington. There are three fires burning, covering a total of about 200 acres.
There is zero containment at this time. The cause of the fire is still undetermined.
