Virginia Beach, VA - The navy says compensation checks for those affected by the Navy jet crash Friday will be given out as early as Monday.

The Navy says officials met on Saturday with affected residents and will begin making funds available today to those with completed claims.

The plane was traveling 170 miles an hour when it hit on, and remarkably no one was killed and only 7 people were slightly hurt.
