Danville, VA - Danville's River District has plans for a new feature that has surprisingly been there for years.
A creek is being uncovered after almost 100 years at the site of an old lumberyard in downtown Danville. The creek had been covered to allow for construction on the property.
Now the site that will be home to Danville's new fire station will have the creek highlighted and used as a water feature in what some are calling a mini-park.
