Virginia Tech Head Football Coach Frank Beamer paid a visit to Danville Community College Tuesday. Beamer spoke on leadership as part of a lecture series at the college.
The Hokies are just over halfway through spring practice with the spring game set for a week from Saturday, April 21st. Beamer said Tuesday he's been pleased with the effort, but wants to see better execution in all phases.
One group getting a lot of attention this spring is the offensive line.
Frank Beamer, 26TH-YEAR HOKIES HEAD COACH, said "We've got to get about eight players, you know, for the five positions and some of them will play a couple of positions. But I think that's what we're really working for right now. And we're not quite there yet."
Virginia Tech has had eight spring practices so far, the Hokies have seven remaining.
