Jennifer Zeppelin

Jennifer is an Emmy award winning meteorologist who has covered just about every weather event while working her way across the south to the Rockies.

Because of Jennifer's love for weather and the broadcast business, she combined her interests in Communications and Meteorology and earned a double degree from Mississippi State University. A Bachelor of Arts in Communications and a Bachelor of Science degree in Geosciences with an emphasis in forecasting and severe weather.

While a student at MSU, Jennifer's career path started taking shape she reported and anchored for an agriculture show called Farmweek that aired across the state of Mississippi. After graduating from college Jennifer landed her first job in Hattiesburg, Ms. at WHLT-TV. From there she worked at WAPT-TV in Jackson, KTBS-TV Shreveport,  KABB-TV in San Antonio and KCNC-TV in Denver.

Jennifer holds seals of approval from both the American Meteorological Society and National Weather Association.

Being able to share her passion for weather with children in elementary schools and mentoring college students earned her an Emmy for a special weather program she presented in schools called "Wild Weather Experience".

When Jennifer isn't working she enjoys walking, traveling and checking out new restaurants plus spending as much time as possible with her husband and 10 year old son.

And if you're wondering about her last name, Zeppelin isn't a stage name it's her real last name and she isn't related to the rock band Led Zeppelin.
