One Person Hurt in Crash, Police Investigating - WSET.com - ABC13

Amherst Co., VA - A serious crash in Amherst County sent one person to the hospital early Friday morning.

State police officials responded to the scene on the Route 29 bypass about a mile from Route 460.

An SUV went down an embankment and it appears to have rolled over several times.

Officers say the driver was taken to the hospital, but we don't know that person's condition at this time.

State police officials say they believe alcohol may have played a role in the accident.
