Roanoke, VA - It's going to be a beautiful weekend, which is great news for the third annual Blue Ridge Bike Fest going on in Roanoke this weekend.
The early birds made it to the Roanoke Civic Center complex for the event's opening, which includes vendors, food and of course motorcycles.
Last year's event took a hit due to rain, but with the nice weather, organizers hope to hit the 11,000 mark like they did two years ago.
"They come in on the parkway. It's a perfect place to ride, it's just beautiful. So we hope it adds to the economy. The city and bars and restaurants are catching on year after year so we are excited about that," said Elliot Broyles ,the event organizer.
The BlueRidge Bike Fest is already underway and runs through Sunday rain or shine.
