A former Jenks quarterback was back in Tulsa Friday night for the premiere of his new movie, "Touchback."
Brian Presley stars as a washed-up athlete who's life fell apart after he got injured 15 years ago.
But in the movie, his character gets a second chance to do it all over again and maybe change his path.
For opening night, Presley greeted fans and watched the movie with family and friends at the AMC in midtown.
Tulsa Mayor Dewey Bartlett even issued a Proclamation making it "Brian Presley Day."
Presley says the film is about family and community, so he wanted to be in Tulsa for the premiere.
"We made sure the football stuff was authentic and I quickly realized I wasn't 18 anymore," says Presley. "But it was awesome putting the pads back on and, you know, with the football stuff, I think I'll represent Jenks well in the movie."
Presley played for Jenks from 1993 to 1996.
Kurt Russell and Christine Lahti also appear in the film.
