Danville, VA- The 31st annual Duke World MBA Rugby Tournament was held this weekend in Danville.
Over 700 players representing the top business schools across the globe competed in the prestigious championship.
Rugby is known as a very tough sport and the athletes don't wear any protective gear.
There were ten women's teams battling it out- and they play as hard as the men.
"The men have a great record here at the MBA World Cup, they've won nine times in the last -since the year 2000 so they have had one or two girls teams to come over and play the touch tournament here, so we have come this year hoping that we can get another win for the girls," said Mary Kate Ryan, UCD Smurfit-Dublin Ireland.
All players were treated to three nights of social events in Danville and Durham, NC while meeting players from all over the world.
