A teenager is dead after being hit by a train in Claremore, late Sunday.
It happened at a railroad crossing near 7th & Missouri around 9 o'clock.
Claremore Police tell KTUL.com, that the victim was attempting crossing the tracks when he was struck by a northbound Union Pacific Freight Train.
Police say the engineer was not able to stop in time.
The victim's identity has not been released, but family members have told Tulsa's Channel 8 he was 15 years old.
