Raising Money for Scholarship in Teen's Honor

Campbell Co., VA - The family of the Brookville High School student who died last week has received so many donations, they're aiming for a goal that will keep his name alive.

Larbie Mensah, 17, died of what doctors say may have been a brain aneurysm. After his death, his parents asked for donations instead of flowers.

They gave it all to the Central Virginia Governors School Larbie attended.

So much money came in, and now they're hoping to start up a $10,000 scholarship.

If you want to donate to the scholarship fund, send checks to the Central Virginia Governor's School, 3020 Ward's Ferry Road, Lynchburg, 24502, designated for the Larbie Mensah Fund.
