Lynchburg - College baseball, ODAC regular season champion Lynchburg hosted Washington & Lee in a doubleheader, final two games before next week's ODAC Tournament in Lynchburg.
Lynchburg won the opener 5-3 to improve to 30-and-7 on the season and give head coach Percy Abell his third 30-win season guiding the Hornets. The Generals bounced back in game two, building an 8-0 lead the first two innings and rolling to a 14-7 win. Catcher Alex Mait drove in five runs for the Generals who improve to 15-and-19 on the season.
