Lynchburg - Heritage scored five runs in the fourth and the Pioneers went on to beat E.C. Glass 9-4 Friday night on the Hilltoppers' home field.
Marshall Davis led Heritage at the plate, going 2-for-3 and driving in four runs. He also pitched the final inning and two-thirds as the Pioneers pick up their first Seminole District win of the season.
Heritage is now 1-5 in the district, 2-12 overall. Glass falls to 7-3, 3-2 in the Seminole.
Nygeal Andrews went 2-for-3 at the plate for the Hilltoppers and scored a run.
