FOREST, Va. --- Lynchburg College will play out the No. 1 position heading into the 2012 ODAC Men's Lacrosse Tournament, which is set to begin later this week. The Hornets (15-1 overall, 7-0 ODAC), ranked third by the latest USILA poll, own one of two byes heading into the semifinals. Roanoke College (11-3, 6-1), who is tied for ninth in the nation, commands the other bye as the second seed.

Hampden-Sydney College (9-6, 5-2) and Randolph-Macon College (9-7, 3-4) will serve as hosts for the quarterfinal matchups as the third and fourth seeds, respectively. The Tigers earned their spot outright, but the Yellow Jackets, Virginia Wesleyan College (9-6, 3-4) and Washington and Lee University (8-8, 3-4) all had identical league records, which called for the ODAC's tie-breaking procedures to determine the final three positions. The fifth-seeded Marlins will make the trip to R-MC for their opening contest, and the No. 6 Generals will play at Hampden-Sydney on Wednesday.
