STILLWATER, Okla. -

Oklahoma State secured its second Big 12 Conference series sweep of the season Sunday with a 7-1 win over Texas Tech at Allie P. Reynolds Stadium.

With their fourth-straight win, the Cowboys improved to 22-17 overall and bolstered their spot in fourth place in the conference standings with an 8-7 mark. OSU has swept both league series on its home field this season and is 19-3 at Reynolds Stadium in 2012.

Randy McCurry turned in a solid performance on the mound in his second start of the week as he worked 7.2 innings and allowed just one run on four hits to improve to 3-2 on the year. He struck out six, one shy of his career high, and was also 2-for-3 at the plate.

Also coming up big for the Cowboys' offense was shortstop Hunter Bailey, who was 3-for-3 with a career-high four RBIs Sunday.

OSU took an early 1-0 lead in the bottom of the first inning when Jarrett Higgins, who led off the frame with a single, scored on a wild pitch by TTU's Trey Masek.

The Red Raiders (22-20, 3-12) managed their lone run in the third when Mason Randolph, who reached on a leadoff walk, scored on a passed ball to tie the game at 1-1.

But OSU regained the lead for good in the bottom of the inning. In his first at bat of the season, McCurry doubled down the right field line and after a hit-by-pitch and a sacrifice bunt, Robbie Rea delivered a sacrifice fly to right field to put the Cowboys up 2-1.

In the fourth, OSU rallied for three runs on four hits to take control of the scoreboard. Gabe Weidenaar got things started with a single, then stole second, and a single by Trey Whaley put runners at the corners with no outs. Up next, Wes Jones delivered the Cowboys' third-straight hit, an RBI single.

Three batters later, with the Cowboys leading 3-1, Bailey extended OSU's lead to four with a two-out, two-RBI double before TTU got out of the inning.

OSU's final two runs came in the sixth, and it was Bailey who once again came up clutch with a two-RBI single to push the Cowboys' lead to 7-1.

The Cowboys will return to action Tuesday when they host Bedlam-rival Oklahoma in a non-conference showdown at Reynolds Stadium. First pitch is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
