Attempted Robbery at Animal Clinic


Lynchburg, VA - Lynchburg Police are looking for the person who held up the Animal Emergency Clinic overnight Tuesday. 

Police say the thief was trying to get his hands on the drug "ketamine."

ABC 13 News cameras were there not long after the call came in at about 3:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Police say a man armed with a tire iron walked into Animal Emergency and Critical Care on Odd Fellows Road and demanded the drug. When the employee refused, the man started swinging the tire iron then ran off.

Officials describe the man as a white male, about 5'10" and 170 pounds. Police say he has a light brown or blonde mustache with a goatee and was wearing a long sleeved blue shirt, blue jeans and black and tan gloves.
