Lynchburg, VA - The public got the chance to see many historic homes and gardens in Lynchburg on Tuesday. It's the annual Garden Day event, which is part of Garden Week statewide.
Dozens came out to Carriage House Inn on Cabell Street, one of the many stops. The tour included the Bed and Breakfast's garden. Visitors were able to look around inside the Inn as well.
They say they like coming out and getting ideas for their own gardens.
"I love to dig in the dirt, I love gardens. I have a cherry garden at my house. I just love anything about gardens," said Charlottesville resident Joyce Katstra.
Poplar Forest and Point of Honor were also on the Garden Day tour.
