Roanoke, VA - Roanoke's City Market building is getting some impressive recognition for its recent renovations.
City officials say in August, the American Public Works Association will give the building a national award for projects in the $5 million to $25 million price range. A regional award will be given in May.
The City Market Building was closed in 2010 for renovations. Officials say they tried to preserve the historical elements while making sure the building was functioning properly.
