Three Holy Cross Players Headed for College Soccer

Lynchburg -  Holy Cross boys soccer, state runner-up this past fall, has THREE players moving on to play at the next level.

The Gaels Wednesday recognized Iseman Knight, Nolan Mann and Jimmy Wilmouth, all will continue their soccer careers in college.

Knight, a midfielder and striker and Wilmouth, a defensive back, are both headed to Emory & Henry this fall while Mann, the Gaels goalkeeper, will play for Christopher Newport.

Iseman Knight, HEADED FOR EMORY & HENRY, said "Oh, so excited.  I'm so ready to train, and ready to prepare for the season."

Jimmy Wilmouth, HEADED FOR EMORY & HENRY, said "It's definitely a huge jump.  It's just such a faster-paced game and everything, but I feel I can adapt."

Nolan Mann, HEADED TO CHRISTOPHER NEWPORT, said "I've been up there, I like the coach, I met all the players and I like them.  I had a good time both times I went up there and the facilities are beautiful.  Their field is pristine and they've always had a good program in the past."
