Lynchburg - Randolph-Macon built a 4-0 lead through five innings, then held on the final innings to beat Bridgewater 4-2 in an ODAC Tournament winner's bracket game Friday night at Lynchburg City Stadium.
The Macon Yellow Jackets scored two in the first and two in the fifth to grab a 4-0 lead, Jeb Weymouth and Tim Benjamin led the Jackets with three hits apiece.
Bridgewater got something going in the sixth, Nick Fulk doubled to left field giving the Eagles runners at second and third, nobody out. Bridgewater, though, could only score one run in the rally, then another in the eighth.
Randolph-Macon wins 4-2 to stay unbeaten in the tourney. The two unbeatens, Macon and Lynchburg, will square off Saturday morning at 11 in the double-elimination tournament.
