Lynchburg - E.C. Glass girls soccer stayed undefeated on the season Friday night, earning a hard-fought 3-1 win over Brookville.
This game was scoreless until just over 26 minutes left when Katie Griffin fought hard for the goal and got it to put the Hilltoppers on the board, Glass grabbed the 1-0 lead. The Bees answered quickly to tie, but Griffin scored again to put Glass back on top. Then about 30 seconds later, Alex Royer tacked on another goal as the Hilltoppers won 3-1. Glass improves to 11-and-0 on the season, 8-and-0 in the Seminole District. The Hilltoppers have a big game at once-beaten Jefferson Forest Wednesday night at JF.
