Lynchburg, VA - A Lynchburg man is in custody after police say he used cocaine in the women's bathroom of Kroger.

Police say Joseph Johnson Jr., 43, has been charged with drug possession after officers found him in the Kroger on Boonsboro. He's also been charged with public intoxication and shoplifting.

Police say that last charge came after he stole a can of beer and some plastic utensils to use with the cocaine Saturday night.

They say several managers thought he was shoplifting and called police.
