Brandon Inge Now With Oakland Will Start Tonight at Third Base

Lynchburg's Brandon Inge will play 3rd base and hit 8th Monday night for the Oakland A's in Boston.

Inge, released Thursday by the Tigers after 12 seasons, has signed a one-year deal with the A's. Oakland lost starter Scott Sizemore to a season-ending knee injury in spring training and other third basemen are hitting a combined .111 with eight errors.
