Rustburg, VA - Congressman Robert Hurt toured his way through Central Virginia Thursday. He was the keynote speaker at a ribbon cutting ceremony in Rustburg.
National Technical Systems, an engineering company, just completed close to $2 million worth of renovations at one of their buildings. They're hiring 15 new workers.
The congressman says he's spent the last year and a half in Washington fighting for policies that will help small businesses succeed.
"This today is a fantastic announcement because it really does continue the hard work that is required by so many," said Hurt.
Hurt also made stops in Brookneal and Lynchburg. Hurt will likely face Democrat John Douglass in November's election.
