Biesecker Leads Fox Puss by One



Lynchburg - Nick Biesecker of Staunton fired a 2-under 69 to grab the first day lead at the 3-day Fox Puss Invitational at Boonsboro Country Club.

 Action in round one, Jack Adkins, son of former Martinsville and Maryland basketball star Jeff Adkins, nearly holes the mammoth putt at 12, Adkins opened with a 2-over 73.  
           One of his playing partners today, five-time Fox Puss champ Keith Decker, also shot a first-day 73, four behind the leader.  
             Two-time defending Central Virginia champ Lee Fisher hits the pretty chip at seven inches from the cup, Fisher shot 74.
               Playing partner Mike Little, Junior runs in the birdie, he's at 73, four off the pace.  2010 Fox Puss champ Steven Liebler opened with a one-under 70, just one shot out of the lead.
