Lynchburg, VA- The Hillcats took the final game of three-game
set with the Pelicans, 4-1. The star of the game was Hillcats' righty J.R.
Graham. Going 8.0 stellar innings, Graham shut down the Pelicans to give the
Hillcats their second win in a row and the series victory.
J.R. Graham (4-0) went 8.0 strong innings, allowing only one run, which was
earned, and striking out four. Kyle Hendricks (0-4) took the loss. He went 6.0
innings, scattering 10 hits and allowing three runs. However, only one was
earned. He also fanned three.
Tomorrow is a rare off day for the Hillcats. They return to action Tuesday
in Wilmington to take on the Blue Rocks for the first time this season.
