Roanoke, VA – A man is behind bars in Roanoke in connection with a shooting.
Police say Joseph Via turned himself in Tuesday afternoon and has been arrested and charged with malicious wounding.
Police say the 38-year-old was wanted for an aggravated assault early Sunday morning. Officers found a woman lying outside a house shot multiple times.
Via is currently being held in Roanoke City Jail.

Officials say Joseph Via, 38, is wanted for aggravated assault.
Police responded to the 5600 block of Green Ridge Road Sunday at 2:20 a.m. and found a woman who had been shot laying outside a home. She was taken to the hospital.
Police still continue to search for Via to locate and arrest him.
