Joseph ViaRoanoke, VA – A man is behind bars in Roanoke in connection with a shooting.
Police say Joseph Via turned himself in Tuesday afternoon and has been arrested and charged with malicious wounding.
Police say the 38-year-old was wanted for an aggravated assault early Sunday morning. Officers found a woman lying outside a house shot multiple times.
Via is currently being held in Roanoke City Jail.

Roanoke, VA – Police say they are looking for a man wanted in connection with a domestic shooting early Sunday morning.
Officials say Joseph Via, 38, is wanted for aggravated assault.
Police responded to the 5600 block of Green Ridge Road Sunday at 2:20 a.m. and found a woman who had been shot laying outside a home. She was taken to the hospital.
Police still continue to search for Via to locate and arrest him.
