Roanoke, Ferrum Set for NCAA Softball Tournament

ODAC softball champion Roanoke and USA South champ Ferrum learned their destinations Monday for the NCAA Tournament.

They'll both play in the Newport News Regional beginning Thursday. Roanoke will take on Messiah at noon. Ferrum battles Salisbury at 2 in the double-elimination event. Emory is the top seed with the host team, Christopher Newport, the number 2 seed. The regional runs from Thursday, May 10 through Monday, May 14.
