Chatham, VA - It looked like the sexual education program in Pittsylvania County would be cut from the system next year , but the school board has found a way to save it.
It will be back for at least another year after the schools got $400,000 in extra state funding.
When the school board announced the program was on the chopping block, there was an outpouring of opposition.
The program has been a Pittsylvania County Schools staple for more than a decade.
