Teen Convicted of Killing Father to Be Released


Halifax, VA - A 16-year-old convicted of killing his father in Halifax County back in 2011, will be released after 60 days in a Danville juvenile detention facility.

Dylan Wynn was found guilty of the first degree murder of his father Eric Wynn, aided by his mother Connie Wynn and grandmother Debra Scribner.

According to the Halifax County Commonwealth's attorney, the judge ruled after 60 more days in detention, Wynn will be released to a family member who claims custody.

Following his release, Wynn will be under a juvenile probation program.
