Lynchburg, VA - A Lynchburg gift shop held its grand re-opening this weekend. Heritage Connection Gift Shop has moved next to Robin Alexander Restaurant downtown.
Ron Shoultz opened the store three years ago at the Holiday Inn on Main Street. He hopes the move will give Heritage Connection more visibility.
The store sells trinkets like hand-crafted necklaces and earrings. You'll also find ties and scarves, and even custom made college gear like quillows.
"A quillow is a combination of a quilt and a pillow. This is one that has Randolph College on it. This lets out actually into a quilt and then it folds into this pillow form so it's a combination, pillow and quilt," said Shoultz.
Heritage Connection Gift Shop will be open at its new location seven days a week. They are open Mon.-Sat. from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. and Sunday from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m. For more information on the store, e-mail Ron Shoultz at firstname.lastname@example.org or call the store at 434-665-1360.
