Halifax Co., VA - Two years ago, they announced 150 jobs would be coming to Halifax County. Now Dominion Power is saying they're canceling a solar power energy project.
The $35 million pilot project was expected to occupy a 50 acre facility in the county.
Dominion says the company they were using to build the solar batteries was experiencing delays in manufacturing, and Dominion could not continue to wait.
The project was to be the first of its kind in Virginia.
